(Selected promotional material and advertisments)
Lewes Artisans always tried to promote its members by periodically producing full page adverts in the Sussex Express, as well as advertising in various other local publications.
Printed directories were produced from late 2003 onwards, once or twice a year. They started in black on coloured paper, and progressed to four colour printing.
Public Notice published in the Sussex Express.

For the two weeks Dec 7th-21st 2003 we were given the
use of the left-hand shop window in Norman Baker's old HQ
in School Hill.
The display was very eye catching, and looked
great especially in the early evening when lit.
Although we could not represent a true cross-section of
ALL our artisan's skills, those represented to good effect
were Caroline Dorling, Oliver Clark, John Pomfrey, James
Slater, Mo Hamid, John Hinitt,George Justice and Susanne
Wolf.

We did quite a few Farmers' Markets during the years, usually to promote a new directory. |
